Tigh na Coille self contained garden flat

Tigh na Coille is situated on the south facing hillside of Ben Conchra overlooking Loch Long 200 meters or so further up the glen from the cottages. It is a purpose built, semi detached flat fully equipped for 1-2 persons adjoining an unusually designed timber clad mountain lodge style house. It comprises a compact open plan lounge/ diner with kitchenette off, a double bedroom with a twin linked pocket sprung king bed, built-in fully fitted wardrobe etc., and designer bathroom with shower over and under floor heating.

            Kitchen equipment includes a 2 ring ceramic hob, combination convection and microwave oven, fully integrated dishwasher, washer/dryer and fridge with freezer compartment. Together with the filter coffee machine and all the other mod cons included they will enable a quick getaway to the great out doors or an unforgettable tour of the magnificent western Highlands and Islands close by. On your return the wide-screen free-to-view satellite TV, DVD, CD and a library of videos will help you unwind or enjoy the view relaxing on the patio overlooking the sea - guarded by our midge machine. There is also ample parking available beside the flat. A complete set of linen including towels, fully contrallable central heating and electric are all included in the rent. Guests are also welcome to use the barbecue and patio furniture.

Other Information:

          There are a variety of food stores available locally, even on Sundays. At Kyle of Lochalsh there are also Banks, a Health Centre, swimming pool and various other shops and services available Monday to Saturday. There are a host of pamphlets and flyers in each cottage and the flat advertising a wide range of eateries and places of interest including golf, fishing, boating, mountain biking and horse riding. With the Five Sisters of Kintail, the Cuillins or Skye and Applecross mountains all within easy reach it’s a walkers paradise with a variety of sea cruises, day trips and places of interest such as the 2500 year old Brochs at Glenelg to visit for a more sedentary day out.

Please note that the flat is normally only available from 4.00pm Saturday - 10.00am the following Saturday, March to October and over Christmas/New Year with shorter breaks available during the low season.
