General: The property concerned is offered for holiday purposes on a weekly basis, usually Saturday to Saturday, unless otherwise stated on a self-catering basis subject to the following hiring Terms and Conditions. On receipt of the balance payment, the property will be made available to you from 4pm on the date of arrival (or at the time and date agreed in advance) and the tenant and their families and/or guests are required vacate it by lO.00 am on the departure date stated. Furnishings, Linen etc.: Each property is furnished and equipped to cater for the stated or permitted occupancy and includes all facilities and major items of domestic equipment as listed in individual property descriptions andinventory. Bedding (pillows, and blankets or duvets) and linen is provided but not towels unless otherwise stated/ arranged when booking. Booking your Holiday: To book a property, prospective guests should use the booking line telephone number or e-mail address below to check availability. Once you have made your provisional reservation, a booking form can be downloaded from the web site (see Bookings and Tariff web page) or sent to you by e-mail or post as required. Please return it to us within 5 days with the initial deposit /amount concerned to confirm the booking. Any balance payable must be made no later than eight weeks prior to commencement of the holiday to guarantee the booking. If you are paying within eight weeks of the start of your holiday, payment is required in full with the booking form. Directions and details regarding the collection of cottage keys are issued on receipt of the final payment. No VAT is applicable. Avilability If for whatever reason the property cannot be made available for the period booked due to events beyond the Owner’s control and the Owner is forced to cancel the booking, the whole of the hire charge will be refunded and the Hirer will have no further claim against the Owners. Any subsequent assistance given to find alternative accommodation will be entirely at the hirer's discretion. Cancellation: Please note that, once a booking has been confirmed, the hirer is liable for the whole cost of the holiday. Cancellation and curtailment protection insurance is, therefore, advised and details are available if not already included with brochure sent. However, in the event, we will endeavour to re-let the property, and if successful, we will refund the amount recouped, less an administration charge of up to £25 depending upon the circumstance. Accordingly, it is important that cancellations are intimated to us by telephoneand immediately confirmed in writing. Pets: Generally, pets are mostly welcome at our properties (except Tigh na Coille) subject to our prior agreement in writing. Hirers should note the accommodation arrangements in the Cottages Information Leaflet provided partaining to pets which must be strictly adhered to at all times. Damage Sureties: In all cases, we ask for a separate damage deposit of £25.00, either by cheque or credit card autority, prior to the commencement of each holiday. This is returnable to the hirer less the cost of making good any damage or loss to the property or excessive cleaning found necessary following the period of occupation concerned. Credit Card Bookings: Payment can be made by VISA or MasterCard subject to a Bank surcharge of 2.3% including Debit Cards (other than SWITCH/MAESTRO).
